These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by English Right Now ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a course, or otherwise accessing the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account or accessing any part of English Right Now, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
English Right Now provides an online members area giving access to video courses, downloadable materials, and related educational content. Specific features, courses, and access levels depend on the plan or product you purchase. We may update, add, or remove features at our discretion.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing credentials with third parties is prohibited and may result in suspension.
4. Course Access and License
Upon purchase or enrollment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the purchased content for personal, non-commercial learning purposes. You may not download, copy, redistribute, resell, publicly display, or create derivative works from any course content unless expressly authorized in writing.
5. Payments, Subscriptions and Refunds
Prices, billing cycles, and refund terms are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period; previously paid amounts are not refunded unless required by law or explicitly offered. Refunds and chargebacks may result in immediate revocation of access.
6. Intellectual Property
All course content, trademarks, logos, software, and materials available on English Right Now are the property of English Right Now or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you. Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution is strictly prohibited.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) violate any applicable law; (b) infringe the rights of others; (c) upload harmful or unlawful content; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data; (e) disrupt service integrity; (f) use automated tools to scrape or copy content. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or by request. You may close your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that courses will meet specific learning outcomes or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, English Right Now shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by prominent notice in the platform. Continued use of the service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which English Right Now operates, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
